Three Contacts Test Positive at Fellowes High School as Second School Reports First Case

More cases of COVID-19 have been discovered in relation to the outbreak at Fellowes High School In Pembroke.
The Renfrew County District Health Unit says that three community contacts connected to the outbreak have tested positive. The unit says these cases are not students or staff, but have been identified through contact tracing. No additional positive tests have been confirmed from the high school.
Meanwhile, another school in the district has confirmed a case of the coronavirus. Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in Westmeath reported one lab-confirmed case. The RCDHU says they are working with the Catholic School Board to follow up with immediate contacts and investigate the case to prevent further spread of COVID-19
The Health Unit says now more than ever it is important to follow public health guidelines, like wearing masks, social distancing, and keeping our social bubbles small. Currently there are 11 active cases of COVID-19, all in self isolation.Over 27,000 tests have been done. The total number of cases sits at 48.
