Bancroft Flood Warnings Continue

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is continuing its flood warning in the Bancroft District.
The MNRF says water levels and flows in local lakes and rivers remain high following the significant rainfall throughout the past week.
However, cold and dry weather expected for the early part of this week should help water levels drop.
All the same, the Ministry says flooding is possible in local watersheds, including the Gull, Black, Burnt, Irondale, Mississauga and York Rivers.
You are being asked to use extreme caution when using forest access roads, as they can be seasonally covered in water, prone to washouts, and impassable as a result of current water levels.
You are being asked to avoid crossing any submerged roadways.
