OPP Treating Pembroke Vehicle Fires as Suspicious

A series of vehicle fires is under investigation by Upper Ottawa Valley OPP.

On July 19th, officers responded to a vehicle fire on the 700 block of Pembroke Street West around 3:45 AM. The vehicle was fully engulfed by the flames but was unoccupied at the time. Pembroke Fire Department managed to put out the flame but the parked vehicle was massively damaged. Police are also investigating a second vehicle fire that occurred at 4 AM that same morning. The vehicle at the 1000 block of Lea Street was damaged by fire but was contained inside the vehicle.
