Ontario to announce details of Stage 3 of reopening
We could soon be moving into Stage Three of the province’s recovery program.
Premier Doug Ford is scheduled to announce details Monday afternoon.
According to the government’s outline last April, Stage Three would consist of most businesses being allowed to reopen, with safety protocols in place covering physical distancing and hygiene.
Public gatherings could also be increased from the current level of ten.
However, large events, like concerts and sporting events, would remain off-limits for the foreseeable future.
The move into Stage Three would be staggered across the province, with areas reporting low numbers of COVID-19 infections being allowed to proceed first.
