RCDHU Reporting New Case of COVID-19, Locations Listed For Contact Tracing

For the first time in months, the Renfrew County District Health Unit is reporting a new case of COVID-19.
Due to contact tracing, a number of locations have been advised that they could have been in contact with the infected person. The positive case visited the Walmart in Pembroke on Monday June 22nd between 11 AM and 2 PM. They also visited the Shopper’s Drug Mart in Petawawa on Wednesday June 24th between 2:30 and 4:30 PM. The RCDHU says that if you have visited either of these locations during this time, you should self monitor for symptoms.
The Unit says that they are conducting case and contact management with appropriate individuals and organizations, and anyone infect will receive specific instructions on what to do next for self isolating and self monitoring. They say that if you have visited these locations and develop symptoms of COVID-19, call RC VTAC at 1-844-727-6404.
