A COVID-19 testing centre will be set up in Killaloe today.
The centre will be at the Killaloe Curling Club at 34 Cameron St, and will be open June 25th from 2 PM until 3:30 PM. If you miss out, another one will be happening at the same location, same time next Thursday. Other locations next week include Ma-te-way park in Renfrew and 7 International Drive in Pembroke. A full schedule can be found here.
The Renfrew County District health unit asks you to wear a face mask or covering and bring your health card and proof of address. Due to limitations at the Unit, they remind residents that if you don’t hear anything back about your diagnosis, no news is good news. The Unit says that you must pre-register by calling RC VTAC at 1-844-727-6404
As of yesterday, the unit says that it had recorded 25 cases of COVID-19 to date, with 1 currently in self isolation, 1 hospitalized, and 1 deceased. A monthly case profile in the District can be found here.
