You can now order take out for your library books.
With phase two of the province’s reopening plan underway, libraries are still under some restrictions. However, the Madawaska Valley Public Library is offering a take-out option to members. You can call 613-756-2000 to request a book or DVD. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org and go to the website
to see the catalogue. They say when your order is ready you can pick it up between 3-5 Monday to Friday when the front door is open. The Library also says the inter-library loan system has resumed.
They say that while children programs cannot be offered on site, there are some makeup options. They say the TD Summer Reading Club has moved online, and encourages all children to participate. They say you can get in on the club here
The Library also says that the public computers will now be available by booking a 30 minute session.
