Bonnechere Valley is looking to make some lasting upgrades in light of the 125th anniversary this year.
They are considering play structures at some of the parks in the township, as well as a lighting upgrade at the arena.
The arena plan would see LEDs as a replacement that would cost $450 each.
The township would have to apply for a hydro grant which would mean they would only pay half.
The savings in hydro would allow Bonnechere Valley to recoup the cost within two years.
