Over 250 festivals and events across Ontario are getting a financial boost.
The province says it’s investing $9.75 million in the events through Celebrate Ontario as part of its ongoing efforts to support the province’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Celebrate Ontario supports festivals and events which contribute to local economies.

It says festivals and events are also powerful economic drivers, according to past recipients, every $1 of Celebrate Ontario funding results in almost $21 of visitor spending.province.
