An illegal cannabis store has been raided by Upper Ottawa Valley OPP.
The warrant was executed on June 4th at an online delivery service known as HerbertHaze. Several OPP units were involved, including the Biker Enforcement Unit, the Emergency Response Team, and the Canadian Forces National Investigative Services. Officers say they seized several drugs including marijuana, shatter, cannabis resin, and cannabis edibles. A large quantity of money was also seized.
Police estimate the total value of the pot seized was over $150,000. Three individuals from Petawawa are facing multiple possession charges. Two men and one woman from Petawawa have been charged with possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling, possession for distribution, possession of proceeds of crime and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They will all make appearances in the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke in late July.
