The office of the Hydro One Ombudsman is now open.
Fiona Crean was appointed to the position last fall after a slew of complaints surfaced over billing practices of the energy provider.
Crean is focusing on delivering fairness to every member of the public affected by Hydro One’s services.
Aside from dealing with individual complaints, Crean will also be doing systemic investigations into problems that have deeper roots.
Despite all the talk about hydro rates in Madawaska Valley, the ombudsman will only be dealing with complaints on service.
Her website points to the Ontario Energy Board for complaints regarding energy prices.
