Upper Ottawa Valley already has results with their March break distracted driving campaign.
In the first two days of the initiative, five drivers have been charged for using their cell phones while driving.
One of those drivers has been charged with careless driving.
Police would like to once again remind drivers that the fine for distracted driving will now cost you $490 as well as three demerit points.
They are also asking people to call 911 if they notice someone driving while distracted.
