The province and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation (OSSTF) have reached a tentative contract agreement. The agreement also includes the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association, the OSSTF Education Workers, and the Council of Trustees’ Association.
“While this tentative agreement does not satisfy all of our concerns, we recognize the current environment we are in and the need for students to have stability once this emergency is over,” said OSSTF/FEESO President Harvey Bischof in a statement.
OSSTF/FEESO’s leaders will meet by teleconference to determine if the deal will be sent to union members. Details of the deal will not be released until members have an opportunity to vote on it. A ratification vote is tentatively scheduled for May.
