Renfrew County Economic Task Force Looking to Guide Pandemic Recovery

In an effort to mitigate the economic impact of COVID-19, the County of Renfrew is putting together a response.

The county has announced the formation of a Economic Task Force to engage business, community and political leaders in countering the financial toll of the pandemic.  They say business sector reps will be recruited from across the county in many different sectors, like manufacturing, retail, tourism, agriculture and forestry.  The Task Force will develop plans to ensure the economy has a future after the current pandemic. The goals of the force are stabalization, rebuilding and growth. They will also keep businesses informed about development in aid from all levels of government.

They say more information will be put up on the Invest in Renfrew County Website. The Task Force says that they will be contacting businesses to gather information on the impact of Covid-19 on the economy of Renfew County. They say to expect a survey in the next few days. A copy of the survey can also be found on the website.
