OPP Challenge Offered

The OPP in Pembroke has offered up a challenge to other emergency responders in the area.
The dare is to support the Pembroke and Area Special Olympics.
Constable Jack Gibson of the Ontario Provincial Police Association recently presented a $200 check to representatives of the games.
Among the organizations that have received the challenge are the Deep River police and Fire Department, Renfrew County Paramedic service and the Garrison Petawawa Military Police.
The Pembroke and Area Special Olympics plays host to athletes from Deep River, Petawawa, Pembroke, Whitewater and Laurentian Valley.
