This week is being recognized as National Farm Safety Week, and one local farmer is doing something different to keep safe.
Caregiver of Magnificent Hill and author of A Magnificent Life, Lea Kitler says she does not use any heavy equipment or chemicals on her farm, which helps with preventing injuries.
Kitler says, as a result, she has found creative ways to do the work needed on her farm.
Kitler says she also does not use chemicals, which prevents injuries as a result of them, but has the added benefit of knowing the food you eat is clean.
