Water Costs Levelling Off in Renfrew

Renfrew County is doing everything they can to help residents deal with the rising costs of water.
Council has taken over $400,000 out of their water reserves to keep the cost of the service reasonable.
This year, water rates will only rise two percent which will not rise over the next several years.
The hike will translate to a difference of $8 and $22 per year.
Waste water will have a hit of six percent which come out to $22 to $53 a year.
That will lower to two percent by 2023.
