Institutions:

-The Township of Madawaska Valley Offices will maintain essential services with guidance from the health unit, and municipal offices will remain open for now. Residents are, however, encouraged to make payments online, use the after hours drop box, and contact staff by telephone.

-Barry’s Bay BIA Has said businesses will remain OPEN in town. However, dining areas in Tim Horton will remain CLOSED by order of the company.

-The Madawaska Valley Library will remain CLOSED until further notice.

-The Valley Manor WILL NOT be accepting non-essential visitors at this time.

-The Railway Station, Paul J Yakabuski Centre and Combermere Community Centre will be CLOSED.

-All March Break events at the PJY Centre are CANCELLED

-Opeongo Senior Centre will CLOSE starting March 18th until further notice.

-Bonnechere Union Public Library is CLOSED as of Monday

-St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation has SUSPENDED the Catch The Ace Lottery, All tickets will be safely stored until further notice.

March 14th – MV Lion’s Club St. Patty’s Day Dance – CANCELLED

March 22nd – Euchre at St. Hedwig’s Parish CANCELLED until further notice

March 27-29 – Opeongo Heritage Cup – CANCELLED

Ongoing:

-All Pembroke Lumber King CCHL games are SUSPENDED until further notice.

– Bingo at the Legion will be SUSPENDED until further notice.

– Walk the Halls at MVDHS will be CANCELLED until April 5th.
