The Public Works Department is saving time by using a new sand loading ramp for winter maintenance.
A grizzly ramp has been introduced to the L’Amable Sand Loading Screen, which allows for material to be dumped onto it, and either fall right into a truck or back onto the ramp.
Director Perry Kelly says the goal was to make sure staff can work quickly and safely.
