Armed Robbery Suspect Being Sought By Upper Ottawa Valley OPP

OPP are asking the public’s help in catching a suspect in an armed robbery.

Upper Ottawa Valley OPP were called around 8 PM Sunday to a call from Bruham Food Mart on Bruham Avenue in Laurentian Valley. Police say a masked person entered the store and brandished an edged weapon while demanding money. The clerk was not injured and the suspect fled on foot with a quantity of cash. OPP deployed its emergency response team and the canine unit, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as male, between 5 foot 10 and six foot one, wearing a grey coat and hoodie, a black face mask and blue jeans. Anyone with information is asked to call OPP or Crime Stoppers
