Snowmobile Collisions Busy Killaloe OPP

Killaloe OPP responded to a number of collisions, all of which were snowmobile related.

Two accidents took place on January 30th. The first was a single vehicle collision on Highway 60 in North Algona. A 27 year old rider had lost control and struck a tree, and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The second single-vehicle collision on the 30th occurred on Trail B106 in South Algonquin Township. A 38 year old from Chatham sustained non-life threatening injuries after he was ejected from his snowmobile.

The final accident on February first took place on Highway 60 in KHR township. A the lone snowmobile operator was airlifted to hospital after sustaining non life threatening injuries.

Killaloe OPP say overall there were seventeen motor vehicle collisions last week. They say nine of these were animal related.
