Killaloe OPP has investigated their first vehicle related death of the year.
The detachment was alerted on Saturday by the Ontario Snow Mobile Federation about a single vehicle collision involving a snowmobile around noon. The accident occurred on trail B106E in the township of South Algonquin. Preliminary investigations revealed the snowmobile was travelling west bound on the trail and struck a tree.
The deceased has been identified as 44 year old Brandon Corley of Cavan-Monaghan Township. The Chief Coroner has ordered a post mortem to be conducted on the deceased.
