While the $70 Million Lotto Max jackpot wasn’t won in Renfrew County, a winning ENCORE ticket was.
Ontario Lotto and Gaming say that out of the five tickets sold that was a winner, one was sold in the area. The winning ENCORE ticket is worth $100000.
OLG say that the $70 Million jackpot was won by someone this week. They say that the ticket was sold in Brampton Ontario. Other winning tickets were sold in Ottawa and Lanark County, among others. The company says that if the ticket is claimed, it will be the biggest lottery win in Canadian history.
OLG says the new jackpot is $33 Million and have begun selling tickets.
