Rotating High School Teacher Strikes have come to the Renfrew County District School Board
Teachers part of the Ontario Secondary School Teacher Federation have walked off the job for the day.
Due to how contracts were negotiated, this means that kindergarten classes in the school board are closed.
The only kindergarten classes open in the area are at Whitney Public School.

Renfrew County District School Board has closed all high schools and night schools.
They have also cancelled all co-op placements, Dual credit programs and any extracurricular activities that are scheduled.
In addition, teachers from the Ecole elementaire et secondaire publique L’equinoxe in Pembroke will walk off the job today as well.
