Bancroft looks at new sign rules in town

Bancroft’s current sign by-laws for businesses could be seeing some changes.

A new policy has been drafted, and will be put forward to Bancroft Council for approval.

Councillor Mary Kavanagh says words have been added for clarification and some elements have been grouped together.

Kavanagh says she thinks the changes will be less confusing for businesses trying to put signs up.

Bancroft Council has not yet made a final decision about implementing new by-laws for signs.
