Last Weekend’s Snow had some drivers in the ditch.
With 25 centimetres of snow falling in some places on Saturday, OPP say that the weather had many drivers needing help. The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment says around 16 motor vehicle collisions were reported to them during the weekend. The majority of these they say were caused by adverse winter conditions. They do however say that no serious injuries were reported during this time.
While Killaloe OPP didn’t say how many accidents were winter related, they attended 17 last week, which is a bump up from the previous week.
OPP remind drivers to adjust their driving when snow starts piling up on the roads.
