Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Raise $2700 for Stuff a Cruiser

Upper Ottawa Valley OPP’s Stuff a Cruiser event was a success.

Officers were stationed at Giant Tiger, Walmart, Metro, No Frills and the Independent Grocer n Petawawa. OPP were able to raise $2700 in cash. They also raised thousands of dollars in food and toy donations. All donations went to Kiwanis Club Toy Drive, the St Joseph Food Bank in Pembroke and the Petawawa Pantry Food Bank.

Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment Commander Stephan Neufeld thanked the OPP members for their initiative and their efforts towards contributing to well being in the community. Neufeld also thanked the businesses, volunteers and donars that made the event a success, and that the generosity of the community was a point of pride. OPP would like to thank the businesses that allowed them to set up outside to accept donations. They also wanted to thank Discount Car and Truck Rentals for donating vehicles to transport the toys and food.
