A fatal accident that happened in June has resulted in charges.
On June 5th of this year, Killaloe OPP responded to a three vehicle collision. A pick-up truck and two passenger cars collided on Round Lake Road near Jack’s Lake in KHR.
The investigation found that the pickup truck travelling northbound on Round Lake Road struck two passenger cars that were travelling southbound. One person, 54 year old Randy Neff of Golden Lake, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver and passenger in the pickup truck as well as the driver from the passenger car were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation OPP have charged a 43-year-old from Laurentian Valley with careless driving causing death. The defendant was issued a summons to appear in court on December 19th in Killaloe.
