The Pembroke Regional Hospital’s MRI Image Matters campaign has accepted a $7,000 donation from the Pembroke Legion.
The money was presented on behalf of the Ontario Provincial Command Branches and the Ladies’ Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation.
According to a press release, the money is from a grant that the hospital foundation had applied to for the MRI fundraising initiative.
The legion sees the money as an investment into veteran’s health and wellness.
So far, the MRI fundraising initiative has accepted $37,000 from the Legion and Ladies Auxiliaries.
