Rash of Thefts in Cobden

Police are trying to solve a rash of thefts in Renfrew County.
Several vehicles and property were stolen last Monday in Cobden.
One vehicle was stolen in Killaloe and was abandoned on Astrolabe Road.
Shortly after, a Home Hardware was broken into and thieves made off with several barbeques were stolen.
Next a minivan was stolen from an automotive shop and later recovered by police.
Then, a trailer containing two snowmobiles was stolen from Gibson’s Garage on Main Street.
A 2003 Polaris and a 1979 Skidoo Citation were on a black homemade trailer with no licence plate.
All these thefts happened between Monday the 15th and Tuesday the 16th.
