Oaks of Cobden Vandals Charged

An investigation into a massive case of criminal mischief has led to charges in Cobden.

Police were called to the Oaks of Cobden Golf Course early last month after reports that multiple golf carts were damaged. Police also say that there was extensive damage to the property as well. The incident occurred on the night of August 3rd.

As a result of the investigation, four males from Whitewater Region and Bonnechere Valley Township have been charged. Two 18 year olds and two 17 year olds have been charged with criminal mischief over $5000.

All of the accused were released on the promise to appear in court.
