Pembroke Introduces New Economic Development Officer

A new Economic Development Officer has been introduced in Pembroke.
Heather McConnell was introduced during the latest meeting of the Recreation, Culture and Tourism committee.
She comes from Toronto and has a Master’s Degree in Public Policy.
McConnell is replacing Susan Ellis, who retired last fall.
She joins the city as the Economic Development department rejoins with the Recreation and Culture department.
Her first task will be tackling an updated website and business registry.
