A number of young entrepreneurs in the county have earned Renfrew Summer Company Awards.
Seven students in the county were recognized for running their own business during the summer. Barry’s Bay own Courtney Smith, operator of Mad Dogs, was recognized as one of the young entrepreneurs. Lucas Rosandic of MaLu Woodworks in Brudenell, Lyndoch & Raglan was also recognized for his woodworking products. Other winners include Tyson Davidson and Heidi Duchrow of Laurentian Valley and Faith Ebert of Renfrew.
The awards are part of the Summer Company Program. The program has helped over 130 young entrepreneurs reach business success in Renfrew county. The county says it is a worthwhile training program for students who want to build their own business.
