Update: Hydro One now saying 5,800 customers are out of power

More than 5,700 customers are out of power.

Hydro One is reporting that a power outage is affecting that many customers in the Barry’s Bay and surrounding areas. Hydro One says a crew has been dispatched but has no other details as to what is causing the power outage.

At this time, it’s estimating that power will be restored at 10:15pm.
