Kilalloe OPP are investigating a head-on collision on Highway 132.
The collision happened on July 17th around 5:15 PM on the stretch of the road between 41 and Merchand Kearns Road. The lone drivers were the only occupants of their vehicles. A 24-year old woman from King City, Ontario was transported to hospital by Renfrew County Paramedics. She was then airlifted to an Ottawa Hospital by Air Ornge with potentially life-threatening injuries. A 31 year old woman from Kanata was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The scene was attended by multiple departments, including the Bonnechere Valley Fire Department. OPP Traffic Collision Investigators were accompanied by a Collision reconstructionist at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the accident is asked to contact OPP.
