It was close, but not quite a record breaker.

With 240 units sold, the Renfrew County Real Estate Board said June 2019 was shy of setting a new record by just 3 sales. The previous record was set in June 2018. The Board said this months sales still outpace all other years by a large margin.

Over 1000 homes have been sold in the county for the first sixth months of the year, an increase of over 14%. This makes it the first time in history that the Renfrew market has topped a thousand sales in the first half of the year, according the Real Estate Board. This makes 2019 the best year ever for home sales activity.

Average home price jumped this year by over 4%, with listings dropping almost 22%, a nine year low. Overall $63 million in homes were solid in June. This was a record for June as well.
