OPP Are investigating a number of incidents in Pikwakanagan.
A hit-and-run happened last Thursday around 7:40 PM. The pedestrian was struck around Mishomis Inamo while walking eastbound. A motor vehicle struck the pedestrian from behind, causing minor injuries. The vehicle failed to stop and continued towards Mishomis and Kokomis Inamo. The vehicle is described as an older model blue Ford passenger car. Police say it has a slightly tinted black window as well. The driver appeared to be male. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Also in Pikwakanagan, OPP are investigating property damage on Mishomis Inamo. A van parked near the road was found last Monday with a smashed windshield and several dents. Police are still investigating. OPP did not say if the incidents were related.
