Summer Programs to Begin at Madawaska Valley Public Library

School’s out and Madawaska Valley Public Library is taking notice.

The branch is offering a number of programs starting July 8th. Programs cater to kids as young as 3 and up. They are offering programs like a Summer Reading Club for kids 3-12 years of age. Children 3-10 can enjoy stories and crafts on Wednesdays and Thursdays. A Special Craft Tuesday is also offered, but the branch asks that participants sign up ahead of time.

In addition, the Library is offering kids 7 and up a chance to be a Librarian for a half-hour. Kids will have the check books in and out, as well as sort and shelve books.

The Library’s Summer Hours have changed. Starting July 2nd the hours are:
Monday 11 AM – 5 PM
Tuesday 11 AM – 7 PM
Wednesday 11 AM- 5 PM
Thursday 10 AM – 5 PM
Friday 11 AM – 5 PM
Saturday 9 AM – 1 PM
