Event planners are counting down the hours until Bay Day 2019 officially begins.

Bay Day’s Organizer Marcia Rutledge says everything is set up and plans have been made. She says all that is left is to set up tables and block off the street in the morning.

New events at Bay Day include a bouncy castle provided by Barry’s Bay Business in Action and a face painter for the kids. Rutledge has also invited back the police and fire departments. A number of local artisans will be part of the festivities. The farmer’s market will return once again. They will be open around the BMO and the Pharmasave.

The Fran Band will return to provide live music. Balloon’s beyond belief will be provided by Terry. He will be at the Metro making balloon animals for kids.

The Vintage Vehicle Show will also be going on that day. Registering your vehicle at the event is free. Opeongo Line will be closed from Conway to Bay from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the festivities.
