Human Remains Identified in Petawawa

Human remains spotted in Laurentian Valley Township a week ago have been identified.

Upper Ottawa Valley OPP was alerted to the remains in the Ottawa River on May 9^th

A post mortem has been conducted and the remains identified.

OPP now say the victim is 16-year-old Trinity Poil of Garrison Petawawa.

She was reported missing to the Petawawa Military Police in February.

OPP say anyone with information is encouraged to call Garrison Petawawa Military Police, who have taken over the investigation.
