The Township extends the hours of the Wilno Transfer Site.
Madawaska Valley Township’s Operations Manager, Hilary Kutchkoskie, says that starting this Saturday, May 4th, you’ll have more time to dispose of your waste.
He says the change comes after ratepayers and business owners raised concerns about the site not being open late enough. He says Madawaska Valley Township Council took it upon themselves to make the move to see if the new hours would be sufficient.
The Wilno Transfer Site is now open every Saturday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For more information waste management and schedule for local waste management transfer sites, click here.
