Culvert To Be Replaced in Madawaska Valley Township Tomorrow

Madawaska Valley Township’s Operations Manager, Hilary Kutchkoskie says that they are planning an emergency culvert replacement tomorrow located on Chippawa Road, 150 metres off of Highway 62. He says that Parcher, Tamarack and Wigry Road will also be impacted.

Kutchkoskie says that there is only one lane open in that area as of now due to the failed culvert. He adds that it’s imperative that it is replaced before the rain hits tomorrow evening or “it will be 10 times worse” he says.

The work should be completed by 1:00 PM.
