The Easter bunny will be hopping to Madawaska Valley Township this weekend.

The Township is putting together an Easter Eggstravaganza scavenger hunt on Saturday and they want you and your kids to join.

Karen Filipkowski of Madawaska Valley Public Library says kids should make their way to the library a little earlier on Saturday. She says that as of 11:15, they will be presenting a series of Easter stories. “We’re doing it a little differently this year where books will be displayed on the projector screen”. She adds that the stories will please children anywhere from 2-years-old to around 8-years-old.

Immediately after, at noon, the scavenger hunt will begin through Barry’s Bay. She says that participants will be able to get a scavenger hunt card that will give them their first clue. Admission is $2 and she adds that refreshments and pizza will be served at the last stop. To view the event poster, click here.
