Killaloe OPP Charge Woman After Collision

A 52-year-old woman is charged after a collision.

The Killaloe OPP responded to a call about a collision last Wednesday involving an SUV and a passenger car.

They say the incident happened on Highway 60 and Crooked Rapids Road in North Algona Wilberforce Township around 3:30 in the afternoon.

Police say the 53-year-old driver of the SUV, from Combermere, was charged for following too closely contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. They add that the 52-year-old female driver of the passenger car, from Bonnechere Valley Township, was treated by ambulance and released on the scene.

On Thursday, the Killaloe OPP responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence in Bonnechere Valley Township. As a result of the police investigation, a 39-year-old female from Nepean was arrested and charged with Domestic Mischief. The accused was released on a Promise to Appear in court date on April 24, 2019.

Lastly, on Saturday, the Killaloe OPP conducted a traffic stop for speeding on a passenger car on Round Lake Road in Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards Township. As a result, they say that a 57-year-old male of Killaloe Hagarty and Richards Township was arrested on an outstanding warrant and further charged with driving with a suspended license. They add that he was issued a summons to appear in court.
