Killaloe OPP Reports on Collision in Combermere

A collision in Combermere sends a woman to the hospital.

On Saturday night around 7:10, the Killaloe OPP say they responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a van on Combermere Road.  They say a 62-year-old female driver, from Madawaska Valley, was taken to the hospital by ambulance suffering from minor injuries and her vehicle was towed.

In another incident, on Friday evening around 5:35 the OPP conducted a traffic stop on a passenger car on Paugh Lake Road. As a result they say  a 37-year-old male driver was charged with suspended driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The Madawaska Valley man was released on promise to appear in court.

On Thursday March 28, 2019 at approximately 1: 55 pm, members of the Killaloe OPP detachment say they responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Madawaska Valley Township. As a result of police investigation a 41 year old female from Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Township was arrested and charged with Domestic Mischief x 2 and Breach of Probation order conditions, contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of Tuesday April 16, 2019 at 9:30 am, Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke. The name of the accused has been withheld to protect the identity of the victim.

Additionally the Killaloe OPP say that during the week of March 25-31 there were seven motor vehicle collisions, five were animal related.
