Eganville group Valley Welcome, is half way to their goal of bringing a family of Syrian Refugees to the area.
So far, seven refugees have arrived, and the group is awaiting the next seven.
Community groups have been pitching in too, with donations ranging from housing to English education for the family.
The group quickly surpassed their original goal of $26,000 and are still accepting donations.
