The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP were busy in Pembroke last weekend.
The OPP is investigating a complaint involving weapons after they received a 9-1-1 call about weapons being used in a manner dangerous to the public peace.
They say the incident happened at a residence on Moffat street. Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment Crime Unit, Community Street Crime Unit, Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit executed a search warrant at the residence later that day.
In another incident, the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP reported that around 1:00 AM that same morning, March 10th, a 21-year-old male was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed on Lea street in Pembroke. They say the man was later airlifted to a hospital in Ottawa. He is now in stable condition.
No arrests were made and both cases are still under investigation and are not believed to be a threat to the public.
