Bonnechere Valley is considering revamping a rule that will allow people to have chickens or ducks for personal egg production.
Several residents have come forward, asking for the rule to be changed.
While the council is considering, they are adamant they do not want people raising chickens for sale or commercial purposes.
Roosters are also out as an option.
The issue will be back in front of the council at the next meeting.
