Madawaska Valley Fire Chief Andrew Peplinski has resigned effective this Friday.
Peplinski also served as the Chief Building inspector for the Valley.
His resignation was announced at the Regular Council meeting, by Mayor Kim Love.
She continued to praise Peplinski for his long standing devotion to both jobs.
He held both roles for almost 11 years.
