Drop in and put a face to the name.

That’s coming from Krista Recoskie, Vice Principal of Madawaska Valley District High School who says that parents should drop in to Tuesday’s parent-teacher night.

Like at the elementary school level, she says that it’s equally important for parents to meet teachers in high school as well. She says it’s a great way for parents to meet the teachers so both parties are more comfortable to contact each other if need be.

Recoskie adds that the school will be made available to parents so they can tour and visit the classrooms and areas where their child spends their days.

She says that this time, they’re going with the drop-in formula so parents won’t have to wait in line. If ever parents need more information, they can then make an appointment with the teacher. It’s happening this Tuesday from 4:30-7:30.
